2026 Edison Next Italian Offshore Sailing Championship

The 2026 Edison Next Italian Offshore Sailing Championship concluded in Gaeta, organised by Yacht Club Gaeta E.V.S. The championship featured seven windward-leeward races and a 25-nautical-mile coastal race, once again confirming the exceptionally high technical standard of the fleet. 

A superb result came from Yacht Club Italiano member Stefano Rusconi, whose Italia Yachts 11.98 To Be claimed the Italian Championship title in Group 1B and finished second overall. It was an outstanding performance tinged with a touch of disappointment, as an OCS (On Course Side) infringement in the penultimate race—while To Be was leading the overall standings—ultimately ended the team's bid for the overall national title. 

Also competing was Yacht Club Italiano member Giancarlo Ghislanzoni, whose J/122 Chestress 3 finished fifth in Group 1B, confirming the yacht's competitiveness following her recent victory at the Trofeo Arcipelago Toscano.
